I sent off an entry for a short story into a contest last week.  This is for Sleuthfest 2008, which will be held in Florida in February.  I am currently working on stories for two more contests, one science fiction/fantasy, and the other mystery.  Both of these need to be sent in by the end of December.  So far, I've started three different stories for the science fiction/fantasy short, and I think I finally have the start of the one with which I will go.  Since I can enter multiple stories into this contest, perhaps I will finish off the others, but that will depend on time.  For the mystery contest, I may enter A Simple Prejudice since I am in the midst of revising that anyway.  I'll keep you posted.
